Press Conference on "Euridice"

Yesterday morning, in the official base of Insiel in Trieste, the press conference on the conclusion of the project "Euridice" (European inter-disciplinary research on intelligent cargo for efficient, safe and environment-frendly logistics) took place. Euridice has been the first research project aimed at the development and diffusion of the so called "intelligent cargo", that marks a turning point in the field of ict application for transport logistics. New developments for freight transport and logistics at the 4th European Conference on ICT for Transport Logistics (ECITL)

The crucial role of a fully interoperable and intelligent transport system was emphasised at the 4th European Conference on ICT for Transport Logistics (ECITL) organised by the University of Applied Sciences Vorarlberg GmbH (FHV) and the Hellenic Institute of Transport (HIT) of the Centre for Research and Technology Hellas (CERTH) and supported by several independent EU funded projects dealing with different issues in transport logistics. EURIDICE final event

After almost four years of activity, the project EURIDICE - EURopean Inter-Disciplinary research on Intelligent Cargo for Efficient, safe and environment-friendly logistics (www.euridice-project.eu) is reaching its end.

To celebrate and share the results of EURIDICE with the research and industry communities, the final event will take place on October the 13th, 2011, in the context of the 4th ECITL in Thessaloniki, Greece. The detailed program is attached. Read more about EURIDICE final event

EURIDICE Exploitation Workshop in Munich @ Vodafone Office

The EURIDICE consortium members will have an Exploitation Workshop in conjunction to the Transport Logistic Conference in Munich on the 12th May together with MunichNetwork members. MunichNetwork is an association of the innovation managers of over 250 high-tech companies, who meet in special interest groups to discuss relevant business innovation issues.

The objectives of the workshop are:
• To present EURIDICEs technical achievements and pilot experiences with intelligent cargo and M2M to the MunichNetwork

Andreas Pichler (Gebrüder Weiss) presented interesting EURIDICE results to 200 participants of the 12th Logistics Forum Duisburg

 Ap. 540 Logistics experts participated at the 12th Logistics Forum in Duisburg. Gebrüder Weiss presents EURIDICE results on the 12th Logistics Forum in Duisburg

Andreas Pichler (Head of IT-Services Project Management) from Gebrüder Weiss will present some of the EURIDICE pilot results on the 12th Logistics Forum in Duisburg on March 17th.
