
Dr. Tatjana Bolic is a Senior Researcher in VIU. She obtained her Ph.D. in Civil and Environmental Engineering; focus on Transportation Engineering at the
Andrea worked for almost 20 years within big international Companies, improving effectiveness and efficiency of complex supply chains. He gained his significant logistics experience covering the various areas of activity, from inbound to production planning, up to distribution, the area to which he devoted the main attention. He worked across various industries, including automotive-like, metals and white goods before joining Transporeon, European leader in e-solutions for logistics, where he is currently Business Development Manager Southern Europe for the logistics e-sourcing platform TICONTRACT.
Besides his professional activities, Andrea is active in the fields of post-graduate training and scientific research, collaborating with some institutions among which Venice International University and MIB School of Management of Trieste.

Dr.-Ing. Jens Schumacher received his Master Science in computer science in 1992 at the University of Bremen. He started as research Engineer at BIBA in 1992. In 1997 he became Manager of the "Centre of Research for Electronic Commerce in logistics" (FOLO) at the University of Bremen. From 1998 onwards he was Head of Department "Logistics and Globally Distributed Production" at BIBA PLT/IKAP and responsible for managing over 50. In 2005 on he was appointed a research professorship in the research centre for product and process engineering at the University of Applied Sciences Vorarlberg.

Paolo graduated in Electronic Engineering at the University of Bologna in 1991. He was contract researcher at the University of Modena from 1992 to 1994, involved in design and development of innovative tools to support advanced production planning in SMEs. From 1994 to 1997 he worked at Democenter, in the Research and Development department. In 1997 he joined Gruppo Formula, as senior analyst involved in the design of Formula’s next generation ERP software. He has been Project Manager of the EU projects PLENT, FLUENT and WHALES. In 2002 he became product manager of Formula’s supply chain management solutions. From 2006 to 2009 he has been Insiel’s head of Logistics Solutions, with responsibility of the business line dealing with advanced ICT systems for logistics in the private, public and healthcare markets. Paolo has been leading the EURIDICE Integrated Project (FP7 ICT 216271) and the Logistics for LIFE Coordination Action (FP7 ICT 248338) since proposal preparation, and he is now coordinating both projects as consultant to Insiel spa.
